Request for Proposal (RFP) for “Providing, setting up and operationalizing of the Accounting Software for the Mano River Union Secretariat”

Tetra Tech ARD implementing the USAID-funded West Africa Biodiversity and Climate Change (WA BiCC) Programme, is supporting Mano River Union (MRU) in the development and implementation of a new Accounting and Financial Management System by supporting the migration from International Financial Reporting Standard (IFRS) to International Public-Sector Accounting Standards (IPSAS).

To this end, WA BiCC is calling for proposals from accounting software and service providers to supply and implement an accounting software solution and provide training services to MRU staff on the installed software solution. The selected vendor will be required to work closely with an auditing firm contracted to oversee the MRU IPSAS migration process to ensure that the necessary elements of the new accounting software solution are IPSAS-compliant.

To be eligible for this award, applicants must:

  • Have demonstrated experience in deploying and providing training services for enterprise-scale IPSAS-compliant accounting software solutions, preferably with regional institutions within West Africa
  • Be in good standing with all civil and fiscal authorities.
  • Be willing to sign applicable assurances and certifications.
