WA BiCC is looking for an In-country Coordinator to carry out the rapid assessment of vulnerability to climate change in coastal areas of Liberia as part of WA BiCC’s activities under Component 2 (Increasing Coastal Resilience to Climate Change). The Coordinator’s main objective is to assist the Center for International Earth Science Information Network (CIESIN) in the implementation of the Rapid VA in Liberia. The VA will be rolled out successively in different countries, following WA BiCC priorities, funding and policy opportunities. The objective of this study is to collect data and information on the vulnerability of coastal regions that has enough resolution to be useful to national decision makers yet remain comparable between countries.
